Bruce is one of the coolest guys around. I didn't know him back when but since he got married 42 years ago, moved to Canada and had a couple of kids I think he's really come into his own. This year he said "Screw You" (maybe not his exact words) to the corporate world and started his own business: Dr.Bruce's Excellent Home Repair. He's always liked to build things and wire things and plumb things and you should see his nail collection. Not bad for a guy who also likes opera, dance, art, cooking, travel and photography. I definitely inherited the camera thing from him (I did not, however, inherit his "I'm just going to whip up a 6 course meal" gene). In 7th grade when I shot my first roll of black & white film he refused to bring it to a lab to get processed and instead we did it at home together. Two years later he built me a darkroom and then he said "Go. Please go." when I up and left for art school in New York City. I delight in calling him Daddio just to piss him off but he's better known as Dad or Bruce. Thanks for everything Bruce.
