There are few cities left where a seven year old boy can walk into the corner store with a handwritten note and a wad of cash and buy 3 different packs of cigarettes. I was tempted to write him my own note, put him on the U-Bahn, cross my fingers and wait for my hooker and bottle of Jack. This could be the start of something great.
