Alexa Vachon is a Canadian born, New York educated, Berlin based photographer who works on assignment for various international publications and on long-term projects focusing on women’s rights and human rights. Living in New York for 11 years, she graduated from The School of Visual Arts and worked as a photographer and photographer's assistant, always traveling when she could and always taking pictures. Alexa relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2009 where she works as a freelance photographer and photojournalist. She graduated from the Postgraduate Class at the Ostkreuzschule Berlin and completed the Master Class with Ute Mahler and Ingo Taubhorn in 2018.
