Yalla follows the first international football tournament for Arab women in an Arab country, which took place in Lebanon over the course of seven days in July-August, 2015. Teams from Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon and Germany participated in international matches and outreach work throughout Lebanon for girls’ living in refugee camps. The tournament was organised by Berlin based NGO Discover Football and the Beirut based Girl’s Football Academy.
